THE HOTEL AMAR VILAS - AGRA

The Oberoi Amar Vilas is located 600 meters from the Taj Mahal, all our rooms, suites, lobby, bar and lounge offer breathtaking views of the monument. Built in a style inspired by Moorish and Mughal architecture, the resort is a splendid display of terraced lawns, fountains, reflection pools and pavilions with rich interiors that take you back to an era of Emperors and Princes. An interlude at The Oberoi Amarvilas is truly unforgettable.

ACCOMMODATION

All rooms and suites feature a separate walk-in closet with electronic safe, colour satellite TV, DVD/CD player. Minibar and a facility to make tea and coffee. Beautiful marble bathrooms feature both a bathtub and a separate shower cubicle with deluxe toiletries. Fifty-seven Deluxe Rooms have a private open-air terrace. Four Executive Suites have a separate living room and bedroom. The two luxury suites feature in addition, a separate living/dining room with butler's pantry and private open air terrace. The bathroom overlooks the Taj Mahal.

The regal Kohinoor Suite has separate living and dining rooms. There is a private study. The bedroom has a separate dressing area with walk-in closet. Here too the bathroom overlooks the Taj Mahal.

All guests receive complimentary two-way transfers from the airport or railway station. All rooms have a 24 hour Butler Service.

Our two restaurants offer the choice of fine international cuisinea and authentic flavours of India. Or simply relax with a quiet drink whilst gazing at the Taj Mahal from the bar terrace.

Bellevue : The main restaurant, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner featuring international and Indian cuisine.

Esphahan : Our speciality Indian restaurant, serving traditional Indian cuisine.Open for dinner only.

Bar : The bar offers a fine selection of wines, spirits and cigars. The bar also has a terrace with a breathtaking view of the Taj Mahal.

Lounge : The lounge serves bar snacks and light beverages.

MEETINGS AND BANQUET FACILITIES

Conference facilities at The Oberoi Amarvilas include two meeting rooms - The Birbal Room (seats 16) and The Tansen Room (seats 24) - and one Ballroom that seats a maximum of 150 guests and can be divided into two sections.
