THE HOTEL CHURHAT KOTHI - BANDHAVGARH

Churhat Kothi is situated just a few minutes drive from the park entrance in Bandhavgarh National Park (Madhya Pradesh - INDIA) at a distance of 6-7 hrs drive from the Khajuraho Airport. The camp is situated in 24 acres of open grassland and meadlow land with a forest surrounding it. The park itself comprises 437 sq. kms. of sal, bamboo and grasslands, teeming with 22 species of mammals and over 250 species of birds.

ACCOMODATION

Accommodation comprises 12 luxurious tents arranged in a camp set in twenty-four acres of dense forest. There are 8 twin bed tents and 4 double bed tents. The tents are spacious and comfortable and beautifully furnished, yet retain the style and simplicity of a true safari camp. Each has an excellent attached bathroom with plenty of piping hot water.

A short distance away is the main lodge which houses a large sitting room and a cosy dining room where everyone can eat together.

RESTAURANT & BAR

The Dining Room offers delicious Continental, Oriental and Indian cuisine. All meals are buffet and tea and coffee is available throughout the day. Packed lunches and picnics can be arranged. Alcohol is served in the camp.

• 4 jeeps which are used for gameviewing.
• A small gym.
• A swimming pool is being planned for the future.
• Separate building housing a library and comfortable sitting room and dining room.
• Bonfire at the Golghar, a covered circular sitting area in the trees.
